Andre XL
Andrea Lamola, aka Andre XL, was born in Laterza, Puglia on 1988.
Generally attracted by the musical world, he start djing in 1995, at the age of eight. During a period of ten years, his sound evolved form house music to underground sound. In 2006, after various experiences in radios and clubs (also abroad), he start producing electronic music. His first projects were published by the Italian label "Stranamente Music" and introduced in many compilation, like "Clorophilla vol.2" and "Housession 5". Later, he start a collaboration with "The Flame Recordings" and "The Family Record".
With the last works, Andre confirm his melodic side, which had characterized the early stage of his artistic life, joined with minimal sounds experienced in the last period. The result of this union is a musical journey, marked by a large-built rhythmic. Nowadays, his dj-set are enrich by live performances, who make different his sound from many others. Metrarecords is excited to release Andre XL's "Mario's Gun" as part of "The Next Wave"(MR-007 2LP).
