What started out in 1997 as a record label for Wayne Folk's vinyl releases has now become a label promoting other up and coming electronic talent worldwide.

"During the second time I was living in Chicago, I had been working in Evanston traveling on the "Metra Rail" frequently to and from work. I noticed how this form of public transportation was quick, efficient, reliable, prompt, evolving and ever so present around the Chicago metropolitan area. I thought " why not Metrarecords" and to this day it has stuck.

Wayne decided after his third release "Man of Many Faces" , this was something he wanted to do permanently considering it was one of his dreams not to mention his immediate friends are various DJ's and producers of all genres itching to get their music out to broader audience.
